Tortuga Sunrise is a beach vacation dream house for the entire family! It is located in beautiful Corolla, NC, a prime vacation destination on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This spectacular new home (built in 2003) has a total of six bed rooms and 5½ baths with beds and furniture accommodating up to 17 people. You will enjoy the gorgeous ocean and lighthouse views from this spacious (3700 sq. ft.) and tastefully furnished/decorated house. Every amenity has been thoughtfully provided for your vacation pleasure and comfort, including an elevator for access to three levels.

The house is handicapped accessible with a garage, elevator and a master bed room/private bath designed with 3’ doors specifically for wheelchair access . Professionals may appreciate the high-speed internet connection and other office necessities to conduct some level of unavoidable business while away from home. The house does not permit smoking or pets.

The screened porch on the top level is a great spot for any meal or cool afternoon drink while watching the sunset or fireworks (July 4th) and listening to the ocean sound/breeze. The two levels of extensive decking (one open, one covered) along with deck furniture/swing provides plenty of opportunity for relaxing, quiet reading, and sunbathing while enjoying the ocean view and breeze. Each bedroom on the top and mid levels is well lit, with ocean views and sliding glass doors opening onto the deck.

Everyone will be thrilled with the 14’ x 28’ private pool with adjacent hot tub/jaccuzi and outdoor enclosed shower, with direct access to a large recreational room. The recreation room has an entertainment center, game amenities and refrigerator/freezer on the ground level. A picnic table and outdoor BBQ grill by the poolside provides a perfect setting for large family outdoor gatherings.

Tortuga Sunrise is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with easy and close access to the beach (~300 yd) and a lake, a great location for children. You can take a moderate walk or leisurely bike ride (~0.3 mile) to the near-by Currituck Lighthouse and the Whalehead Club/County Park for a picnic, crabbing, or kayaking where you can find green space and a sunset view on the Sound. A free boat ramp is available at the County Park. The Villages of Ocean Hill community offers an ocean-front pool, a lakeside pool, health club facility (for a small fee), tennis courts, playgound and close-by public nature trails and wildlife preserve.
